Skyline Drive


One of the most scenic roads in America, Skyline Drive meanders for 105 miles across the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Skyline Drive is accessible on the opposite side of the Shenandoah valley, only 15 minutes from Blue Ridge Overlook.

Massanutten River Adventures


Massanutten River Adventures conducts canoeing, kayaking, and tubing trips on the nearby Shenandoah River. Trips leave from the Massanutten Tour Center, just off Resort Drive.

Luray Caverns


Discovered in 1878, this natural landmark beneath the Shenandoah Valley is an internationally acclaimed destination and is the most popular cave on the east coast. Take a tour on paved walkways through cathedral-sized caverns. Luray Caverns is located 32 miles from Blue Ridge Overlook.

Monticello is the home of Thomas Jefferson, President of the United States and author of the Declaration of Independence. This architectural masterpiece, with its fantastic botanical gardens, is located in Charlottesville, about 1.5 hours from Blue Ridge Overlook.
